Porter turned two last month and is getting to be so much fun, not that he wasn't fun before, but now he is running all over and does so much and is just such a big boy. He has more personality and loves to argue and tease you but in a playful way, well most of the time. He carries full conversations now and speaks clearly, well at least to David and I. He is very loving most of the time as well and gives some great hugs and kisses (right now his kisses are just putting cheek to cheek and making kissing noises, which is much better than slobbery ones). Some of Porters favorite things are phones, bikes, boots, baby doll strollers, trucks, trains, balls and his stuffed animals: Champ Care Bear, Braveheart Lion, and Mickey Mouse. Unfortunately he still loves his Binky and blanket but we will be getting rid of the Binky soon, he does good with only using to sleep with but has cried and cried and torn his room apart in search of one when he doesn't have one. It might not be as hard if he was still in a crib but he isn't so really the only reason he stays in his bed is because he has his security items. He has been in a toddler bed for a few months now as he just climbed out over and over so he had to be done with that as it was safer to put him in a bed.
Porter also is enjoying reading a lot more and sits for a longer period of time. His favorite books are about trucks, trains, or characters he likes like Mickey, Elmo, and Dora. Porter knows how to count to 10 and is still working on his colors, he knows orange and pink and sometimes gets others right, but don't really know if he really knows them. He likes to watch movies too, which isn't very good, but loves Carebears, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse and will just about watch anything the girls watch. He also loves to be outside doing whatever. He is such joy in our lives and we love him very much. That is pretty much all I can think of. Here is a fun video of him the other day and it shows that he loves his boots and his blanket and Champ Carebear, which he was saying it was his baby and he was rocking it.
