Vegas Trip

This year we lucky to go to Las Vegas for 10 days!  We left Christmas Day and came home Jan. 4th.  (Those were the cheap flight days)  We got a really good deal on airline tickets!  Sure was grateful for that.  Didn't have to drive all that way!  The kids traveled well and it wasn't too bad to fly out on Christmas Day.  Since Eliana was the only one who had school (and David brought his work with him) we saved a bunch of money and stayed til the 4th.  Plus staying that long let us see my brother Parker and his wife Stephanie since they were gone the week of Christmas on a cruise.  Poor things, j/k.  We enjoyed our time in Vegas and already want to go back for another visit.  We miss my family!

Vegas Trip- Redrock

We went hiking up at Redrock while in Vegas.  I think it is so pretty there.

Vegas Trip- New Years

We had a wonderful New Year in Las Vegas with my family.  We just had tons and tons of yummy food and played games.  Eliana celebrated her birthday there (New Years Day), but don't have those pictures yet

In Denmark, where Caroline is from (one of my parent's foreign exchange students)  they jump into the new year so we jumped off of couches and chairs!

And of course had some Sparkling Cider

Vegas Trip-Parks

We also spent some time at the park next to my parent's house.  The weather was beautiful there.

Christmas morning

Wish I would have more pictures of Christmas morning but mostly got video.  Santa brought the kids a train table/Lego table (it's got two sides), a camping chair for each kid and stuff in their stocking.  We had a great Christmas.  Christmas Eve we went to Aleta and Joe's for dinner and games and program.  It was a lot of fun.  Then Christmas Day was presents and breakfast, then church, then we ate lunch and headed to the airport.  We flew to Vegas that day.  We were lucky this year to find incredibly low prices on flights through Spirit Air and flew all 6 of us for the cost of driving pretty much!!!!
