My Birthday!

My birthday was on July 15th. It was a good day! That day we went to playgroup at the park that has the splashpad and then that evening we had a little party/open house. Some friends and family came and we had lots of goodies and visited. Thanks to all who came.
Blowing out the candles. We just had a sheet cake of my favorite cake, Pumpkin cake so it would feed more people.

Porter likes to cover the holes.

Our new HOUSE!

We have been busy with moving and getting settled in. We are all moved in and loving it. Here are a few pictures I have taken.
Our bedroom.

Another view of our room, notice the sliding glass door to the patio.
Porter's room.
The girl's new dresser that we painted and bought new knobs. Will do for now. It is placed in their closet.

Front room. Don't laugh at our TV, we will soon have our bigger one(our computer) in there with some surround sound. The speakers are built in we just need a receiver.
Eliana took this picture of Kenzie and Porter in front of the new house.
The kids enjoying the hot tub that came with the house!
Our tiny garden we hurried and planted when we moved in. It now has one pepper and we have eaten some of the lettuce.
Our swingset is now cemented in the ground so it doesn't tip and our RV pad the kids just use to ride their bikes and such. It goes all along one side. It is awesome. We also just got a trampoline but don't have any pictures yet of that. And we have a nice picnic table under the covered patio.
I will be doing some painting adding color and other such updates later. We decided to not paint until fall or so since we are so busy enjoying the summer.

Fourth of July!

On the 3rd of July we went to some friend's house for lots of fun. Of course I didn't get any pictures. The 4th of July we went to Joe and Aleta's for a BBQ and then Grandma and Grandpa Strasser's for lots of treats including roasted marshmallows and homemade Ice Cream and visiting with friends and family. Oh, and of course some fireworks. The kids actually spent the night at their grandparents because we were moving the next day. It was quite cold that weekend so we had to adjust to that.

Kenzie, Lillian (enjoyed the fireworks and was more fun to watch than the actual fireworks.) , Kalo, and Siosi (didn't really enjoy the fireworks as you can see).
