Kenzie's 4th Birthday

This year we celebrated Kenzie's birthday a day early because Bryan and Heather were leaving on her birthday and we also had a ward Christmas party on her birthday so we just decided to do it Thursday. We went to Chuck E. Cheese and then had cupcakes and ice cream and opened presents at David's parents.
I would have taken more pictures at Chuck E. Cheese but my camera temporarily broke there.
Not the best but tasted good. We also had brownies.
The birthday girl.
We forgot our candles and David's parents didn't have any so David improvised with matches.
Opening a coloring poster from Kalo and Siosi.
A Pinkalicious puzzle from Alyssa.
Twin babies from Grandma and Grandpa Strasser.
Pens and earrings from cousin Ashlynn. Apparently I didn't' get any pictures of our gifts to her, but we got her a writing set, two new outfits, and waffle blocks (we got those from a friend who moved and the kids love them). Eliana got her a Care Bear tin purse and made her a beaded necklace. She had a good birthday! We love Kenzie so much and love having her in our family. I can't believe she is already 4.

The Carousel

Also during Bryan Heather's visit (David's brother and his wife and their two kids came for two weeks for Thanksgiving) we went one day to ride the Carousel at the Riverfront in Salem.
Kenzie pointing to where she wanted to ride.
Cute picture of Porter ready for the ride.
Eliana showing off her horse.
Ashlynn and Bryan waving. Eliana and Porter and David in the picture too.
All done riding and a happy boy!

A Visit from Santa

We had a early visitor when Bryan and Heather were here for Thanksgiving. Yes, it was Santa and he brought a little something for each of us. The kids were pretty excited this year.

Porter was a little hesitant at first.
But then was excited when he got a toy car, that is what is behind the cardboard.
Eliana even gave Santa a little kiss on the cheek.
She got a necklace, coin purse, chapstick and a bracelet.
Kenzie got the same as Eliana. (all the girl cousins did)
But Kenzie wouldn't give Santa a kiss.
Dan got a Snuggie!
Oh yeah Superman Dan.

Random

Eliana made this "snowman" with playdough and beads and wanted me to take a picture of it.
Eliana once again got a hold of my camera and took these two pictures of Porter.

The girls went to the church when the youth babysat so the adults could go Christmas shopping. The loved their face paint they got!
Eliana created her name out of playdough.
Eliana had a Thanksgiving feast at school and they were able to dress up. We borrowed this from a friend, thanks Lisa. Eliana loved wearing this Indian costume.

Breakfast

Eliana took some pictures during breakfast one morning. Thought they were kinda cute. Love her one she did of her self.
