Valentine's Day

Well, Valentine's Day was an interesting day. We just hung out in the morning, then we went for lunch to Round Table for their pizza buffet. Once you've bought 5 you get the 6th one free, so we were at that point, so that was nice to get a free one. We had to pay for Eliana for the first time though because she is 4 now, but that isn't as much. Then we were just hanging out because David didn't want to mess with crowds by going out on V-day. We were planning on just hanging out at home and watching a movie since David and I went to movie/dinner last weekend and we went out to dessert and shopping the night before (Friday). Our plans changed, well at least mine, when Porter got hurt. Eliana either rolled him over wrong or pulled his arm weird, because she pulled his elbow out of the socket. He was just screaming and wouldn't move his arm. I guess they call it Nursemaid's Elbow. Well, I had to take him to the ER and was there over 4 hours. He is doing fine, he just had to have it popped back in and they did x-rays to check to make sure it was done right and nothing was broken. Apparently it is hard to get x-rays of baby bones so we had to keep getting them done. He wouldn't reach for things or use his arm for about a day, but today seems to be doing fine. Eliana felt terrible so I hope she is more careful with him now. I did get some pictures of the kids in their (well sort of) Valentine's Day outfits. They weren't new clothes or anything special, I just tried to dress the girls in hearts and Porter in red. They were really excited for Valentine's Day and I put treats on their pillows right before they woke up (thanks Aleta for the idea) and they loved that except they wanted to eat all their candy before they ate breakfast.
The girls kissing the top of Porter's head. I thought it would be a cute picture, but I couldn't get it to work right. Oh well.
I love Porter's face; he looks scared. Kenzie looks very tired.

Would have been a cute picture if Kenzie was hidden so much. My fault too, I cut her off to much.

Eliana giving attitude.
Silly faces.
The kids.
This was taken with my phone camera on the 5th when we made Valentine's Day cookies at playgroup.

More of playgroup cookie decorating.

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day!

Silly Kids

The other day Eliana put Porter in her baby stroller and was pushing him around the house. I don't like them doing this because they have broken their other stroller this way. But I couldn't help but think it was cute and get a couple of pictures.

Doesn't he look cute in a pink stroller.

We went to the library the other day and Kenzie climbed on the shelf so I took a picture (below) then when she was just playing she wanted me to take a picture of her on the horse seat (above). I guess Kenzie was tired and wanted to sleep on the bookshelf. I hurried and took a picture before we got in trouble though.

Crazy Hair Girls

The other day in the bath tub I did this to the girls and they wanted their picture taken. I have done this to their hair before but they suggested taking their picture so I did. They love taking baths and will play in the tub for hours. I often take advantage of this.

Porter Update

I haven't really taken many pictures this last month or two of Porter, so I finally took some. Porter is growing so fast and is rolling onto his sides now, but not quite all the way over. He loves to sit up, but needs support still. He has been sick for awhile now and has many visits to the doctor lately. He mainly has been seen for his breathing (he has been wheezing) and has had a few ear infections. Although he has been sick he has been happy and still sleeps well, except for a couple of nights. I am glad that he is such a good baby. He is so much fun; I think this is one of my favorite ages. Porter will be 5 months in a few days. Since he was sick we had to keep waiting for his four month shots/appointment. We finally got them yesterday, so here are his stats:
4 Month (well closer to 5 months)
Height: 2' 2" (69%)
Weight: 16 lb 8.5 oz (63%)
Head Circ.: 17.01" (60%)
2 Month Stats:
Height: 2' (86%)
Weight: 12 lb 1.9 oz (61%)
Head Circ.: 15.98" (66%)
2 Week Stats:
Height: 21 inches (60%)
Weight: 8 lb 15 oz (54%)
Head Circumference: 36.5cm (36%)
I experimented with the coloring on these two.

Groundhog's Day?!!?
Apparently our little friend Punxsutawney Phil is predicting 6 more weeks of winter. Yuck! I am so ready for spring and summer.
First Folder: 12 (this is how many groundhog predictions there were this year according to wikipedia)
Second Folder: 2 (for February)
Posted Picture: 2 (for the day we celebrate the hog)
This is what was in that spot, but it is not a photo, just a video clip I took with my camera. I didn't know if I should just skip this video and just count the pictures, but I thought this would be fun to see too. This was taken of Eliana Jan. 5, 2006 of her playing her maracas for me. What a cutie!
