Eliana Update

Eliana is 7 years old, I can't believe it.  She is sure a joy in our house and is a good helper.  She loves Lydia and loves to help with her.  We just started leaving Lydia more with babysitters and Eliana loves that she can help them with her.  She wants to babysit her all by herself, so hopefully she wants to when she actually can. Eliana just finished her first season of basketball.  She had fun, but we will definitely have to work on her skills.  She was really excited to receive her trophy though.  Now we need to start running so she can run the Awesome 3000 in May.  Eliana is quite the reader and has had the most minutes read almost every month for her class.  She reads very well and enjoys chapter books, right now it is the Ramona Quimby series.  She stays up way too late reading most of the time but other than that she is a great 7 year old.  It was fun a couple of weeks ago David and I took Eliana out to a movie and dessert and the movie was The Lorax in 3D and Eiana was so funny to watch because things were popping out at her, she was scared a little in the previews, some were too real, but not really in the movie.  (She had seen a 3D movie once before but it was almost 2 years ago).  She enjoyed some alone time with us though.
