Harvest Festival

 Last week we went to the Harvest Festival at the Gilbert House.  It was a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed doing all the fall crafts.  They made gourd creatures, leave pictures, decorated visors, bird feeders, face-painting, fog bubbles (bubbles from dry ice) and did lots of playing with the hay maze, live music and the usual playground.  My favorite thing was the apple cider press.  It was beautiful fall weather and stayed for the pumpkin lighting after it was dark, which is pretty cool to see.
